The Alibi Hostel is located in the old prison in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is a shared kitchen, hairdresser's, and gift shop at the property. Interesting that it was a former jail. Really need.

A 27-km coastline of white sand, a beautiful dune landscape and picturesque villages – this is Ameland in a nutshell. Free Wi-Fi is available at Sier aan Zee. Location was excellent! 5 minutes walk to the beach and in the other direction 5 minutes walk to the forest. Kids loved feeding the ducks at the nearby nursery. Island itself is lovely and distances between villages are easily manageable by bike.

It is a good place to walk, bike, sub and swim in the sea or have fun on the beach and sports field. Equipment to sub and surf available for free. Sport field for soccer is close and you walk straight on to the beach in 2 min.

Very friendly staff and exceptional good rooms and breakfast for a simple "Herberg". The man at the check in was so nice, he even offered us a second room with no extra charge!
