Located directly at the shore of the lake, Seehotel Grundlsee offers rooms with elegant, wooden furniture and a flat-screen cable TV. Excellent location and excellent facilities. They have a great sauna, but we did not have time to use it.

The SCHÖNIS-Landhotel enjoys a quiet location in the Styrian spa town of Bad Mitterndorf in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Beautiful venue with a wonderful ambience and exceptional view of Grimming. Great range of food for breakfast. Lovely indoor and outdoor dining areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel Hechl in the centre of Tauplitz is located amid the scenic Salzkammergut region of Styria and offers you a wellness area with heated outdoor swimming pool, infrared cabin, tropical shower,... The hotel is situated in a unique location from our room we had a great view of Mount Grimming. Very large, comfortable room with a balcony. Breakfast in the hotels excellent, a large selection of dishes, very tasty. The hotel has excellent cuisine, very varied, we ate delicious dinners every day. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere, the hotel staff is very helpful, I rate the stay as exceptional. I would like to return to this hotel someday.

Set amidst the impressive landscape of the Salzkammergut in Styria, this 4-star superior hotel offers a unique location on a plateau above Bad Aussee and beautiful panoramic views of the Dachstein. Great location. Amazing breakfast and food in general. Every single member of the staff delivers perfect service. This is challenging and a great achievement. Respect. The room was nice and most importantly quiet. The view to the Loser is wonderful. I’m not the Spa type so I didn’t use it a lot but it’s nice, it was not overcrowded and the teabar plus nuts and dry fruit is welcomed. I would have appreciated a higher water temperature in the pools but that’s minor. It was warm enough to feel good inside. The golf course is around the corner and next to the hotel. I’m not an expert but the course looked rather mediocre to me and just as much maintained as necessary. But that’s not part of the hotel and not their responsibility. I will definitely come back again.

Set in Bad Aussee, 14 km from Loser, Villa Styria offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything was perfect. The staff incredibly helpful,clean rooms, deliciuos dinners and breakfasts.

Located in Altaussee, 12 km from Loser, Hotel am See - Seeresidenz provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Hotel has traditional Austrian ambiance and heritage. It is perfectly located with its own private access to the wonderful, clean lake. The buffet breakfasts offer many choices of fresh, traditional cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and many have view to the lake or a quiet pretty street. The staff is very profesional and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and highly recommending this hotel.

Hotel Alpen Arnika is situated in Tauplitzalm, 1650 metres above sea level and 10 km from Bad Mitterndorf. The staff and food are awesome! Consider including dinners, they are really great!
