Hotel zum Heiligen Geist is located in the centre of Mariazell, just 30 metres from the Bürgeralpe Cable Car and 500 metres from the Basilica. Free WiFi is available. Everything was great. Room was much bigger than we expected, exceptionally clean, hotel perfectly located - on the main street, few minutes from sops and restaurants. Owner is very pleasant, she gave us many useful tips. Breakfast was carefully selected, tasty and plentiful. All in all, hotel highly recommended.

The moment you step foot in the cozy 'lobby', you are made to feel right at home. It feels more like visiting a distant relative, than checking into a hotel. We arrived after regular check-in time, and still we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and chatted for half an hour - what a difference to what you are used to. This approach directly set the tone for the rest of the stay, and I have not come across a better combination of privacy and luxury, and such a personal touch. During the whole stay, the hosts were super helpful, friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable, the view is phenomenal and the breakfast is extensive. It was a lovely experience having it served in the room, with a view over Mariazell and the valley. We had some special requests, and they were more than fulfilled, making this a truly memorable weekend. From the hotel, you get to the center of Mariazell within minutes on foot, but getting to the hotel by car is equally easy, making it a great starting point for excursions into the region.

Located next to the famous basilica and other sights, this hotel is right on the main square in the centre of Mariazell. Great stuff, everything was as promised, own parking lot, central location.

The rooms were very clean, the furnitures, bathroom, windows, everything was high quality material. The rooms were very quiet, the beds are comfortable. The staff was very kind and flexible when we wanted to change the room, so that our rooms with the kids will be close to each other. The dinner was also delicious.

Featuring a spa and Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, wellness shower, tea bar, realaxation area and a sunny terrace with a view of Gemeindealpe. quiet location, staff very accommodating, room very spacious and well equipped. many family run restaurants within walking distance.

Just 500 metres from the Bürgeralpe Ski Area, JUFA Hotel Erlaufsee is next to a sports centre 2 km from the centre of Mariazell. A spa area is available. Location is exceptional, both Erlaufsee and Mariazell is a walk away (<2km), breakfast and dinner buffet are versatile, fresh, well rounded and fairly priced. All but one employee were exceptionallly kind, helpfull, invested in the client. Interior rooms were great, as well as exterior. Gym has modern and well rounded machines offer. Not cheapest hotel, but not overpriced for the above mentioned. Will come back again. Especially if any aktions appear :-)

JUFA Hotel Mariazell terletak 3 km dari Mariazell dan menawarkan kolam renang dalaman yang besar, lorong boling, larian toboggan serta taman besar dengan teres. I like the location in quite part of the village. Great family hotel very kind people, great breakfast.

Family-run for 5 generations, Hotel Drei Hasen is located in the centre of Mariazell, only 100 metres away from the world-famous Basilica and 50 metres away from the cable car. I liked everything! The rooms were very clean and nice. The spa was excellent too! Very friendly environment and I will definitely come back. I suggest to everyone to come and stay there :)

Offering a central location in Mariazell, just steps from the basilica, Hotel Himmelreich offers a beer garden, a restaurant, and an infrared cabin. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Nice and clean room, probably renovated lately. Hotel is located in the center of the city just above the church. Host is very helpful and offered a garage for bikes (for a 10 EUR fee). Dinner in the hotel restaurant was a decent one.

Only 100 metres from the Mariazell Basilica, the AKTIVHOTEL Weisser Hirsch can be found right in the centre of the town.
