The Schrannenhof is a lovingly restored, 15th-century town house in the centre of Klosterneuburg with excellent transport connections to Vienna. Hotel Schrannenhof offers free WiFi. The staff was very welcoming, attentive and helpful and the hotel had charm. Breakfast was excellent, and even though it was a buffet the staff continually checked that everything was in order and took a personal interest in the guests. The coffee and service were very good. Free parking was available at the rear of the hotel. Access to Vienna couldn't have been easier. The bus leave from outside the hotel and the train station is across the road. Highly recommended, especially if you are visiting Vienna.

This traditional, family-run 4-star hotel enjoys a quiet location in Hinterbrühl in the Vienna Woods, only a 10-minute drive from Vienna’s city limits. Very comfortable room. Clean and modern hotel. Good restaurant, rich breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Definitily will come back.

Surrounded by the Vienna Woods, the 4-star superior hotel Schlosspark Mauerbach is surrounded by a 5-hectare park right at the city limits of Vienna, offering a spa, indoor and an outdoor pool, and an... Was a great stay. Except we were stressed out by the moment we did the check-in with the old blonde lady who did not want to help us with the change in invoice details! We contacted booking and then was possible. I don’t understand why keep people like those in a nice place like that. A good business is knowing how to talk with people, and willing to help!

Surrounded by a large garden, Wienerwaldhof Rieger enjoys a very quiet location in the Vienna Woods. It offers free Wi-Fi access, free private parking, and an indoor pool. A very friendly hotel and absolutely exceptional food at all meals - we loved the local produce at breakfast and dinner. The pool was great for kids to relax!

The Höldrichsmühle is a hospitable, family-run 4-star hotel with restaurant at the heart of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve, only 17 km south of the centre of Vienna. Free WiFi is available. We stayed here because it is out in the countryside but only 20 minutes from downtown. It was very out of the way but not too far. The free parking BTW is non-trivial too. In the city it would have cost us about $50 a day for 4 days, and that was a nice saving.

Set in Neulengbach, 44 km from Rosarium, Villa Berging offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. It's an amazing place with a nice host and beautiful view. So quiet, nice and satisfying. Highly recommend it to all people that are in love with nature and like the quietness of the Austrian countryside.
