Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields. Lovely staff, excellent service, beautiful location, warm and cozy atmosphere, interesting backstory of the property, good lasagne (we ate at the hotel, not the restaurant), Ingeborg went above and beyond, was fun to talk with and gave us some nice suggestions regarding activities for our next stay. My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay.

This Art Nouveau-style villa is situated in the Het Meetjesland area, only 1.2 km from the centre of Eeklo. Shamon features free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and a garden with a terrace. very friendly owners, excellent breakfast. Very charming hotel with a history. Very good matrasses and super quit room.

Hotel Orchidee is situated in the centre of Aalter. They provide modern rooms with a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the building. It was a sumptuous breakfast and the receptionist was very friendly. I hope I can stay there again next time.

This cosy, recently renovated family hotel is set in the wonderful, scenic region of Meetjesland, just outside Maldegem. Loved the small scale hotel. It’s clean, the beds are great. The breakfast was lovely. It’s close to both Gent (20 mins) and Antwerp (35 mins) by car. Highly recommendable❤️
