Located within 1.2 miles of Cahal Pech and 11 miles of El Pilar, Venus Hotel has rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in San Ignacio. Location was great, right on the main street. There are supermarkets, restaurants, tour companies around. We were concerned that it might be noisy at night as the hotel is right in the centre of town. The noise levels didn't bother us and was not an issue for us.

Located in San Ignacio, 2 mi from Cahal Pech, Max Rooms features views of the mountain. The rooms provide a city view and come with a desk and free WiFi. Everything, it was Cozy, spacious plenty of room to spread out back packs. Hot water, clean, excellent aircon & fan. Soft pillows & bed we slept on a cloud. Kitchen facility’s. close to shops just a walk over the bridge. Supermarket across the road & laundromat right next door. Mykal the operator is excellent.

He also gave us some local trip suggestions. They just go above and beyond. There is a water tank available 24/7, the garden is serene and cool to walk in...just ask whatever you need, everybody is so helpful!
