Historic Hotel du Pillon offers panoramic views of the Diablerets Glacier and the Alps. This is a small family run place. The owners were extremely kind and helpful; went out of their way to ensure we had a good visit.

Located in Vers L'Eglise, 35 km from Train station Montreux, L'Auberge de L'Ours provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had a large room (small dormitory) that could accommodate 7 people. Our girls slept upstairs which was nice for everybody. Very nice breakfast with fresh croissants, pains au chocolat, bread and tresses. The owners and personnel at the restaurant were all very nice and welcoming. The B&B was fairly close to les Diablerets but afforded a very quiet environment at night since it's a bit secluded compared to the village. Having a restaurant on site was convenient and the food and cocktails were excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Set in Gryon, 36 km from Train station Montreux, Le Wafo offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Wafo hotel was lovely! A boutique style chalet hotel that is brand new in 2023. The room was clean, bedding of high quality and a territorial view from our room. The common area, desk staff, bar and breakfast room are all in one large space. Lots of comfortable seating with a fireplace view and windows looking out on the beautiful grounds and mountains surrounding the setting. Nicolof and Christoper were great hosts and Sunshine the dog is equally friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk (paved sidewalk) from the bus/train stop which is at the edge of town. A few good looking restaurants and shops are very close. The tourism office is at the bus stop. There are rental shops in town, within a short walk. The train to Villars is easy to reach from the bus stop. Villars is about a 10 minute train ride. Villars is a busy resort area. Gryon is much quieter which was exactly our preference. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, including coffee any way you like it, juices, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh bread, meats, cheeses and other goodies. In the evening the bar is open with beers, wines, NA beers, cocktails and soft drinks. I will be staying here every time I can return. All positive comments from our stay! Fully recommend this lovely hotel for a visit to the area!

Hotel du Lac features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Villars-sur-Ollon. Delicious supper - Thai cod curry. Delicate, perfect amount. Haute-cuisine in the mountain. The hosts were chatty, engaged. Able to have a late check out because there were no other guests arriving for our room. That was one of the best things because it meant we could ski happily during the morning. Perfect.

Offering panoramic views of the Dents du Midi Mountains, the Grand Hôtel des Bains Superior offers free access to the Spa Centre of Lavey-les-Bains, which has the warmest thermal water in Switzerland.... Great hotel, staff, bath and food. Will be back!

Offering spectacular views of the Swiss and French Alps, Hôtel Le Grand Chalet is a family-run, historic house from 1896, located 50 metres from the ski slopes in Leysin. The outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the stunning mountains, the drinks professionally served, the sauna, the beautiful rustic chalet, the amazing rooms, the very comfortable beds, and of course, the amazing variety at breakfast were all exceptional. I can't think of a better place to stay, to be honest. We tried the food at the restaurant terrace (also amazing view), and it was absolutely delicious. I'll go back soon, I'm sure!
