On a recent trip to Switzerland, my wife as a special birthday surprise booked a trip to the magical town of Engelberg to visit Mt. Titlis and she chose the Hotel Sonnwendhof as a place to spend our time in this beautiful location Upon check-in we were met by Silvi, who was gracious, professional, and instantly greeted us as if we were old friends. She assured us our stay there would be special given, it was my birthday, and she provided us with a special room with a spectacular view, out of both sides of the room. It was in fact a magnificent view from the room, actually one of the best views we have ever enjoyed. Besides a view of the ski jump being prepared for upcoming World Cup 2022, a full moon rise over the mountains took our breath away. The hotel is quite comfortable and quaint and is a very short walk to everything. Breakfast was superb with a choice of a wide of variety of freshly prepared foods, homemade juice and honey, as well as homemade bread. It was really lovely. While we only stayed two nights, it left us with a memory of a lifetime. We can’t say enough about the hospitality we received, the warmth and friendship that we will remember long after the trip is finished. Thank you to Silvi, your team and your family for making such a special visit to a beautiful town called Engelberg. We would highly recommend this hotel and town as a destination for anyone who wants to see the best of the Swiss Alps.

Kempinski Palace Engelberg poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Engelberg. Jen 1,1 km odtud se nachází Lanovka Titlis Rotair a Lucern nádraží je 35 km daleko. Everything about the hotel is fantastic from the moment you go in, the breakfast, the facilities where we would get our own ski lockers with heated prongs to warm up your ski boots or gloves before a day out. The service was spectacular and the view of Titlis is just breathtaking.

GRAND Your home with common kitchen se nachází v centru Engelbergu, vedle vlakového nádraží a 600 metrů od lanovek Titlis Rotair a Gerschnialp - Trübsee. Na místě je bar. Krásná lokalita. Velice vstřícný a ochotný majitel i personál. Dokonale vybavená společná kuchyně. Možnost uložení zavazadel. Byli jsme velmi mile překvapeni. Můžeme plně doporučit.

Hotel Waldegg - Adults only má vyvýšenou jižní polohu v Engelbergu. Nabízí panoramatický výhled na hory, wellness centrum s krytým bazénem a restauraci. The stay was perfect and we got so good service. The staff was lovely an caring. We look forward to next time :)

Amazing location, great breakfast, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, nice meals. Would recommend and would stay again!

Hotel Central se nachází vedle hlavního vlakového nádraží Engelberg, odkud jezdí spoje do Lucernu, Dallenwilu nebo Stansu. K dispozici je bezplatné Wi-Fi a soukromé parkoviště. The staff were absolutely the best; accommodating in every way. Fantastic breakfast with eggs made to order and accompanied with everything imaginable. Ski bus was a two minute walk. Wonderful restaurants at the doorstep.
