The location was stunning, great parking, well equipped and comfortable room with stunning views. Both the evening meal and breakfast taken outside on a terrace overlooking the lake and alps in the background, were excellent . The staff were excellent too with attentive hosts and Olga the breakfast waitress is an asset, welcomong, friendly, attentive and excellent at her job.

The building is under state protection and much has been preserved here from old times. I really liked my stay, it was very unique. The owner and personal are super friendly! Welcome drink was a very nice surprise 😋

We were over the moon that there was a large fan in our room during the heatwave days of July. The staff was pleasant, kind and accommodating. The breakfast coffee was superb, the best I've had in my many visits to Switzerland.

Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. We love this boutique hotel to pieces. It is not the first time we stayed here and it's definitely not gonna be the last. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. We had a big room overlooking the main pedestrian street. The room was clean, nicely decorated and quiet. The bed was very comfy. We appreciated the coffee and tea facilities in the room. We also appreciated a lot the bar on the ground floor that served very good beer and very good flammkuchen until relatively late. Parking is very easy to find if one follows the hotel instructions. We positively regretted that we only booked one night.
