Sonja was a great, helpful host. Spacious room with balcony and sink. Plus much transportation in the Simmental Valley is included…trains & gondolas! The breakfast is good & generous.

Offering panoramic mountain views, the family-run Hotel Simmenhof is 1 km from the centre of Lenk in the Simmen Valley. Super helpful/ caring staff (I had a sprained ankle and they helped me get around (carrying my baggage) and with my booking + after check out they drove me to the city center) I am very thankful for that! Otherwise it was a sweet hotel (nice ambience), very clean and had lot's of good features (a beautiful swimming area, a billard table and even windows to a horse riding hall next door. + the breakfast was pretty good/ tasty :P.

Hotel Sonnegg er lítið fjölskylduhótel sem er staðsett í þorpinu Zweisimmen í Bernese Oberland. Aðstaðan innifelur setustofu og verönd. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á almenningssvæðum. Very quiet location. Spotless and newer decor. Proprietor is running this only with 1 part time help. Very personal, short walk to the Village.

Upon arrival the guest card was not sent to me via E-Mail. I went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". There were two gentlemen in process of moving furniture out of the hotel. One took care of the guest card. I was asked for my personalities. Then a short while later I did receive the guest card via E-Mail. The last day of my holiday in Hotel "Krone Budget", at the Restaurant "zum Gade" nobody showed up in the morning at 06:30. In the guest information upon arrival it was stated that it will be possible to have breakfast at this restaurant after 06:30. I explicitly had announced on my arrival day that I shall come by this time for breakfast. I then went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". I asked there when I could get breakfast. At first I was told by 07:30. Then as more employees arrived I was told it will be possible to have breakfast immediately i.e. at 07:00 as certain things still were in process of being prepared. By that occasion I told to one employee who bothered about electricity the evening before that the heating in the toilet of my room did not work. Most likely the air had to be let out. He wanted to fix this immediately. I told him he can fix this when I am gone. This overall was a very great service. They very much did take care!
