The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned hotel, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. Quaint historic inn. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. The whole place exudes warmth and welcome at a slower pace. Very attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free/celiac) and five star food. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Great hiking right out the door. Our favorite stay of a nearly three week European excursion!

In a quiet location above Lake Walensee, the Hotel Neu-Schönstatt offers a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. Free WiFi is available and the Flumserberg Cable Car is 2 km away. Erittäin siisti huone ja yleiset tilat. Luin arvosteluja ja varauduimme korvatulpilla kirkon läheisyyden vuoksi, tosin tähän oli hotellikin reagoinut tarjoamalla korvatulppia. Erinomaista. Maisema ja ympäröivä alue on todella kaunis! Sisäänkirjautuminen erittäin helppoa ja huoneen maksu samalla maksupäätteeseen. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaisia. Vieressä ravintola Don Camillo, josta saimme erinomaista pizzaa. Suosittelen mikäli olet alueella!

Seminarhotel Lihn sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla Filzbachissa Kerenzerbergin tasangolla. Se tarjoaa panoraamanäkymät Walen-järvelle ja Churfirsten-vuorelle sekä ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n. Beyond expectations. The triple room with shared bathroom was just perfect. There are a couple of shower/wc in the corridor which are clean and tidy. staff are very friendly and helpful. The view from the room and its balcony is amazing! Also the restaurant and its terrace was great, very nice dinner.

Set in Näfels, 41 km from Einsiedeln Abbey, City Hotel Glarnerland offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The hotel is modern. A lot of facilities are available. The breakfast is with variaty of options.

Situated in Filzbach, 50 km from Einsiedeln Abbey, Hotel Cafe Seeblick features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. In a bike trip across Switzerland with stays in 10 different hotels, this was easily our favorite. Not fancy or at all pretentious. Just super friendly and relaxed with a drop dead view.

Situated in Flumserberg, 46 km from Salginatobel Bridge, Hotel Tannenboden features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel is very modern and comfortable, everything was very clean and nice. Stuff was very welcoming, breakfast was tasty!

On the slopes of the Flumserberg Mountain, Hotel Bergheim is a 2-minute drive from Flums and the Tannenheim Ski Area. Great breakfast, nice staff, big bed, clean bathroom (shared one)

Just 300 metres from the Maschgenkamm Cable Car, the Cristal Hotel is right next to the slopes and a ski lift of the Tannenboden/Flumserberg Ski Area. Great staff and excellent location

Rooms at Hotel Sonne feature panoramic windows with a view of the Glarus Alps. The hotel is just 4 km away from Walensee Lake and Wi-Fi is free in public areas. View was sensational. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was great value. Beautiful ice cream at lunch time.

Set at the entrance of the Glarus Alps, lintharena ag enjoys a quiet location in Näfels. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV as well as 4 bed rooms with shared bathroom on the floor. the rooms are well made and silent, the very best swimming pool facilities are for free too.
