Hotel Eierhals am Ägerisee features a lakeside position in the Ägeri Valley in Central Switzerland, offering a restaurant with terrace, a garden and a spa area. I chose this place well. Built in 1543, this hotel in the centre of Zug accommodated famous guests like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, yet it offers modern amenities like free internet and air-conditioning. Location nd breakfast were excellent. The front desk, Andy and a woman whose name I don't know, were very helpful. I will recommend the hotel to future visitors to Zug. I have stayed at the park many times; prefer the Ochsen.

Just a 7-minute walk from the centre of Zug and Zug Train Station, the family-run Hotel Zugertor offers 36 comfortable, modern and bright rooms. Great location and nice rooms, very helpful staff who made check in easy and helped with late checkout which made my day

The City Garden Hotel is situated next to a green park, within walking distance from the commercial districts and only 3 minutes from the city centre of Zug. The room was incredible: clean and large, and the service was excellent.
