We had breakfast and dinner service and it was very good. The tour guides were very professional. We were thoughtful because of how hard it is to bring stuff to this little place and how good they did it.

Booking the tours via Serendipity is recommended because the guids are very good. All the staff was very friendly and in a good mood

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Hotel Sunset Rooms is located in Tortuguero, a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. Location on the water was great. Owner was very accommodating, warm and friendly. The bar was perfect for watching the sunset. Room was nothing fancy, but clean and comfy with hot shower and fridgette. Located at the quiet end of town with an easy walk to whatever was needed.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 1312 feet from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Everything was fine. Eddil the owner was super friendly and helped a lot when staying there. Wifi worked very well, the shared bathroom was very clean and good hot water. A shared kitchen outside with some coffee and tea also available. During our stay my partner had some stomach problems and Eddil supported us a lot. I am really happy even if we were a bit unlucky during our stay. thanks a lot Eddil! ;)

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is located in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. Simple place in the middle of wildlife - at the edge of the jungle and close to the beach. Good breakfast. The tour guides associated with the hotel were great. We had an early morning canoe tour with Bernie.

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 328 feet from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

Surrounded by an extensive garden and located 656 feet from Tortuguero National Park, Hostal y Cabinas Tortuguero features a terrace with hammocks and free Wi-Fi throughout. Wonderful hotel full of character that gives a real sense of being in the jungle. The room had everything needed and it’s very centrally located. the welcome drink and pack was a really kind touch. Lastly, a special mention for the amazing Nehla. She went above and beyond to help me with moving on to my next destination when I had no Visa card (essential!) or cash. Thanks so, so much. I would have been lost without you!!

La Casona Eco-Lodge Tortuguero features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Tortuguero. The property is non-smoking throughout and is located a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. Super clean room and very well located just a couple of minutes walk from Tortuguero main square. The staff was suoer friend and the check in process easy and quick.
