Pavillon Winter Luxor offers 3 restaurants, 2 bars, and warm hospitality in the heart of Luxor city. It overlooks the River Nile and is just 100 metres away from the Luxor Temple. Our stay was fantastic. The staff is very friendly and speak really good english. The location couldn't be better. But the best part were the gardens and the pool! There is so much green that we felt humidity in the air for the first time in Egypt, the pool is amazing. The breakfast was beyond what we expected.

This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. Excellent hotel, exceeded our expectations. Very kind and professional front desk staff. Amazing breakfast with great variety. Breathtaking Nile view and most amazing terrace directly on Nile river, where you can have your breakfast, lunch or enjoy beautiful sunset. Nice pool. Internal part of hotel has several restaurants (Italian, Lebanese, Nubian, Thai), and every evening live music/ belly dancers: dervish dance. Room service very good, great offer and fast service. They even have lunch boxes that you can order in room- was great when we were traveling full day to Abu Simbel. All staff very kind and professional!

We quite liked this place. It's conveniently located by the public ferry terminal on the West bank of the Nile. The room was spacious, clean and had three more beds than we required. The shower had great water pressure and temperature control and was heavenly after a sweaty day hiking through the valleys. The view from the rooftop was beautiful! Hassan was helpful and had a sense of humor that was a rare treat in Luxor. It's not a fancy building or anything, but AC and wifi worked fine, so all up it was great value for us. Very conveniently located next to the local ferry. Also the neighborhood is a little more chilled out, with a local street food vibe in the evening.

The hotel is located just next to the temple of Habu, which can be reached in 5 min by foot. Also, other places like Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, etc, are close by. However the hotel is located 40-45 min drive from airport. The host arranged pick up for us from the airport so it was comfortable. It is calm at night, no traffic noise, the kind we experienced in Cairo. The host: Jabalwy is a very warm, welcoming, kind, and humble person. He made our stay very comfortable. He organized private cars for us for 2 days to travel in Luxor and also for 2 days to travel to Aswan and Abu Simbel. He cooks delicious food. He is always there if you want something. He also organized an air balloon trip for us, which is worth experiencing. The room and the guests: we are 2 indian friends from Germany. We initially booked hotel for 2 nights but we wish we would have stayed longer here. Our room had 1 room with 2 single bad and attached bathroom. Considering the price range, we were quite contented.
