Housed in a historical building in the Plaza de Zocodover square, Hotel Boutique Adolfo offers free WiFi, concierge services and a tour desk. The Museum of Santa Cruz is 200 meters away. This hotel was fantastic in all regards. Staff went above and beyond from loaning umbrellas, suggesting helpful places to see and places to eat, and even making enquirers for my next hotel. Very lovely and also relaxed. Breakfast was perfect. Couldn’t eat everything so took fruits for snacks later. Room was beautiful with a lovely view of the square and Christmas lights in December. Bus to the train station leaves from the square. Two supermarkets very close. Lots of restaurants and shops. I really recommend this place!

Retiro del Teatro Almagro is situated in Almagro, 30 km from Puerta de Toledo and 27 km from El Quijote Museum. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. A little gem in the heart of Almagro. Situated within walking distance of everything the town has to offer. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Elena and given the choice of two rooms. Each equally unusual and superbly decorated and fitted with a small kitchenette. The building itself has been designed and decorated in true Castille la Mancha style with reminders everywhere of Cervantes' hero. Our bed was enormous and extremely comfortable, although pillow a little hard for my taste. Everywhere was not just spotless but sanitised throughout. In the evening the entrance hall was warm and welcoming with soft lighting and ambient perfume. The day time temperature was 42 each day but the air conditioning was just perfect and easy to control. There was just one downside and absolutely not the owner's fault but the room opened up onto a shared courtyard and other guests decided it was a good place to dry their washing so we had a great view of their underwear draped over chairs and the ironing board. Such a shame. The small kitchenette is perfect for storing cold drinks, making a coffee or preparing snacks and is well equipped. Quirkily it sits inside what looks like a small armoire, subtly hidden from the room. Plenty of power sockets and a state of the art hairdryer are also included. If you want somewhere original and comfortable, this is THE place to stay. As a final note there is plenty of street parking around the building.

Situated in the heart of Lagunas de Ruidera Nature Reserve, in the small town of Ruidera, Hostal La Noria offers rooms with air conditioning, heating, and free WiFi. It was a very nice experience. The host was very hospitable and willing to help. Hostal is near to the lakes in the walking distance. I recommend this place.

Set in the countryside 10 km outside Cuenca, Hotel Boutique Pinar offers luxurious rooms with terraces overlooking its garden and swimming pool. Some rooms have a private pool and others a hot tub. Breakfast was fabulous! What was even better was that you could eat it on the terrace/in your room. Facilities were great, lovely garden and pool, comfortable, big bed and lots more.

The Hotel Rural Casa Grande Almagro is located in the famous La Mancha province. It has a swimming pool, and all rooms have Wi-Fi and hydro-massage showers. A really beautiful well appointed hotel. Everything was to a high standard and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we had it in a beautiful room. The room was very nice, comfort bed and good shower. All in all a great hotel and a nice stay.

This hotel is named after its surrounding district, famous for its smart noble mansions. It lies a pleasant 15-minute walk from the monuments of Toledo city centre. We had greatest view from window to the center of Toledo, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, was easy to find parking for the car and every day we had exciting foot walking to the center of Toledo from Hotel. I can give the highest rating with all my heart.
