My albergue bed was upgraded to a large individual room. Very good beds, bedding, pillows, tv, new modern bathroom. Buffet breakfast 7€ at 8am and lots of good advice regarding the Camino route ahead. The hotel has an outdoor pool for summer. The hotel’s website photos are totally accurate. Meals are available in the restaurant.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, very close to the Sil Canyon (which is spectacular - go to one of the viewing points nearby). What really set this hotel apart though was the welcome and the service provided by the team; especially the lady who welcomed us on arrival (whose English is near perfect) and our fantastic waitress. We loved being able to order drinks that would be delivered to any of the amazing seating areas we discovered in the hotel, the very nice dinner that included wine and the wonderful gardens.

I was at the Hotel Vistalegre and SPA in Portomarin in 2021 on my first Camino and I was impressed even then by the location, the beauty of the decoration, the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel, but especially the overall offer such as SPA and massage, and an excellent, tasty and delicious breakfast, which would when we include the wonderful, friendly and professional staff, Silvia and Laura, who speak perfect English, that magnificent, small - big hotel should and could immediately have four stars, not two. This year too, Silva and Laura surpassed themselves in organizing my stay, sauna, massage and dinner reservation in the best restaurant. They are fulfilling all your wishes if it is possible. They even prepared a list of the best restaurants and tapas bars in Santiago for my departure. I have already been twice there and I will come again. I recommend Vistalegra Hotel to anyone who wants to feel the attention and care of the hosts who do everything to make you feel at home. Silvia and Laura are an example of how the staff can be a great added value of an already wonderful Hotel. Thank you Silvia, thank you Laura.

Staying at this old medieval castle that is renovated into a hotel was like going back in time. The people there were nice, and the place had cool things to do. It's like they mixed the old castle vibes with modern fun. Super recommend it if you want a chill time with a touch of history. The location is also great. We had a great view of the surrounding landscapes and a beautiful meadow to walk.
