Halle Hotel Lalibela has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and BBQ facilities in Lalībela. Built in 2020, the property is within 2 km of Bet Amanuel and 2.9 km of Bet Abba Libanos. My stay at Halle was great! My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and had a phenomenal sunset view. The bed was very comfortable as well. I travelled solo to Lalibela and this hotel felt very safe. The hotel manager Belay was very responsive to all my questions/concerns and helped me with everything I needed during my stay from walking me to where I wanted to go to lending me an electrical adapter. The hotel itself is around 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the churches (so rather close but away from the town center so it’s quiet and peaceful). I would definitely stay here again!

They have a local guide who speaks great English and have incredible knowledge about the history. They even offered me dinner for the last night!

The moment you enter the property you realize great efforts have been made to make it attractive. On booking, they offered to pick us from the airport.for a small cost. A person was waiting for us with our names at the tiny airport. Check in was fast. The room was huge with colorful decor. A large balcony with excellent views of the country side. The dining hall is very attractive with local furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guide associated with the hotel provided a great tour of the ancient churches. The hotel is located in walking distance to the churches. The climate is cool year round. A simple breakfast of homemade bread, honey and eggs accompanied by strong Ethiopian coffee is provided.

I had an overall excellent experiences ! There were friendly staff's , nice view as the name indicate its beyond panoramic , delicious food including their free breakfast , as local people's told me that one regional rebel groups were patrolled the town for more than six months , and fought with government trops due to this many infrastructure damaged like electricities and it has not been reconstructed yet , but i don't pass without appreciating unlike the other hotel's Panoramic View Hotel , Lalibela -they have 24/7 standby generator which give power for the entire of the hotel compound, as the gas station isn't working yet due to the power ,thus they brought fuel for the generator from the local people as a black market , even though there is shortage of water supply but still panoramic view have enough water ....they generally provide excellent hospitality services ! Highly recommended place if you had the chance to visit Lalibela ( finger crossed ) Kathy

My room at the Alef Paradise hotel had a really beautiful view that I could enjoy from my own little patio. The staff were all very nice and helpful and even set me up with a local guide and transport before I arrived. The free breakfast was really delicious - especially the coffee! Overall, the Alef Paradise hotel is a great value for money and I would definitely recommend to future visitors! To note: the power is only on at certain times of day (evening and potentially a few hours in the morning) but that's more a function of power in the town and not due to Alef Paradise Hotel. Just plan to charge your things at night or have a power bank with you.
