We had a sea view room which was lovely and we could just have sat at the window all day looking at the view! The staff were so friendly and were also very helpful with information about the local area. The menu choices catered for all and the food was of an excellent standard and well cooked. The lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views.

With panoramic views over Brodick Bay, The Douglas Hotel offers boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The historic hotel is a 10-minute walk from Brodick centre. Great location near the ferry. Beautiful room with nice bathroom. The hotel restaurant is good.

We liked the convenience of having a wonderful restaurant on site as well as coffee and tea cakes available in our room. The private outdoor seating area overlooking the shore was a luxury we enjoyed!

Situated in Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, The Arran Lodge & Arran Sleep Huts sits at the top of a private wooded drive. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. To begin with, communication with the staff was really excellent. Lisa & her colleagues went above and beyond (THANK YOU!!!). Lamlash is a beautiful little hideaway of a town, and while it takes a few extra steps to get there, it was well worth the effort. Figuring out the Stagecoach bus schedule, while fairly reliable, does take a bit of getting used to, but if you need to ask, there are so many people willing to help out! The walk up to the property is a short but noticeable uphill jaunt, so just be prepared. It's good exercise!! (The bonus is that it's downhill each time you head to Lamlash :-) I have seen a few other reviews mentioning thin walls, but was fortunate to be surrounded by very quiet and thoughtful neighbours so noise wasn't an issue at all! If you're a light sleeper or noise-sensitive overall, noise-cancelling headphones or ear plugs are just the thing. If one keeps in mind that the Arran Huts are like glorified tents (with plentiful hot water, excellent water pressure, private and CLEAN toilet, basic toiletries, all linens), they're not to be compared with or rated against fancy hotel rooms. But as we're rating the Arran Huts within the category of huts/tents/campers/pods, I can very comfortably and confidently give the whole location and experience a solid ten. Not to mention, the weather on Arran was simply *chefskiss*

Ardgowan Cottage er staðsett í Brodick, 18 km frá Machrie Moor Standing Stones, 18 km frá King's Cave og 23 km frá Lochranza-kastala. Lovely family house with a large very well equipped kitchen, well heated throughout the house. Very safe spot if young kids with you and a super large fantastic secluded decking area that connects with the front door. Very well thought out cottage
