Very connected to the community and helpful when finding future accommodation. Bag transfer service to Tarbert given the terrain & wind was much appreciated. PS: cycling onward on a Sunday? Nothing is open so ask for a packed lunch. Lesson learned 😟

Everything was wonderful, such a top notch stay. I really wish I had stayed an additional night or two. The property has everything covered, and the shower pressure was an American's dream! Such great hospitality from the proprietor, and it's a no hesitation stay again, stay often!

We were also pleasantly surprised by the great welcome basket waiting for us, thank you Caroline! There were even binoculars for spotting wildlife. Supermarket close by, although we did most shopping in Stornoway. We had a great time! After we left I found out I forgot something very special to me and Caroline arranged to send it back to me without delay: again many thanks here!

The Fisherman's Hut is a truly unique place to stay when you're spending your holiday on Harris/Lewis. The locations is really the best to venture into any direction, the views of the highest mountain and the loch are stunning. If you want to go for a little walk along the road or into the fields, it's all there. The little hut has literally everything you could imagine, the bed is comfy (great mattress!), the kitchen is equipped with all you need, and the bathroom has nice warm water from the shower. You have your own parking spot and even a little beach (if you should feel like going for a swim). All in all, this is probably the most memorable place we'd stayed during our trip through the Hebrides and we would return anytime.

Everything, set in a beautiful location with stunning views across the Atlantic. Views Seals sleeping on a large rock, sea eagles, otters and dolphins. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely big clean rooms with comfy beds. Hosts are very helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Very relaxing. The beaches are stunning, the sea is turquoise and the sand is white, it was like having a tropical beach all to yourself, without the sweltering heat. Just perfect.

Riverside is an apartment located less than 5 km from Tarbert. The property has sea views. The apartment includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, as well as a coffee machine. The location was excellent and the host was lovely. Views were gorgeous. Very homey.
