We loved the tranquility and the remoteness very much indeed and we greatly enjoyed the garden and the exceptional view from the wee entrance room (where we actually spent most of the time because of the view). The cottage has everything you could possibly want. We were also pleasantly surprised by the great welcome basket waiting for us, thank you Caroline! There were even binoculars for spotting wildlife. Supermarket close by, although we did most shopping in Stornoway. We had a great time! After we left I found out I forgot something very special to me and Caroline arranged to send it back to me without delay: again many thanks here!

The beaches are stunning, the sea is turquoise and the sand is white, it was like having a tropical beach all to yourself, without the sweltering heat. Just perfect.
