Lovely outdoor terrace area , very friendly staff, well placed for town centre and easy reach of Durham and the beautiful NE in general . Highly recommend.

Located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, a few minutes’ walk from the sandy beach and Saltburn Pier, The Spa Hotel boasts stunning sea views, a bar, restaurant and 24-hour front desk. The staff are helpful throughout the organization and helped resolve a problem caused by hotels. com. Book direct is my motto for the future. A family emergency caused us to have to request a cot and single bed and they kindly accommodated us at the original rate. Great stay and will definitely return. Some rooms however are a little pricey for the size.

Walworth Castle Hotel is in the rolling Tees Valley countryside, west of Darlington. Dating back to 1189, this historic building is set in 18 acres of stunning lawns and woodlands. a beautiful castle stay in a beautiful location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent!
