He contacted me straight away when I booked and he was so helpfull and friendly, all my questions where answered and he arranged everything I asked for. Really amazing! The pictures are not lying. Hot shower. Cute garden We stayed for 2 nights to enjoy the Sanyang beach for the wrestling game on sunday (it was ramadan so no game but it still was worth the stay!)

I loved everything—the place, the friendly stuff, the host, the nature. We came here after our friend recommended it to us, and we were not disappointed. The breakfasts were very nice, and the food in general was amazing. The Retreat is in a place that is 5 minutes walking distance from a BEAUTIFUL beach and a nice beach bar. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a genuine experience. It is so peaceful!

Oliver and Helen were exceptional hosts and we will definitely be returning. They cooked us wonderful meals every evening ,the best food that we've eaten in the Gambia. They were great company too. It's a taxi ride to the beach. This place is a hidden gem and a must stay if you are in Sanyang.

El Evergreen Eco Lodge Retreat se encuentra en Tujering y ofrece restaurante y conexión WiFi gratuita. Greg & Maria are wonderful, warm hosts who instantly made us feel relaxed & at home. By the end of our two- nights stay we felt part of the family. Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! We cannot wait to return, & will stay for much longer next time.
