Situated in Sgoudiana of Gavdos island, Metochi Gavdos features a tavern and views of the sea. Free WiFi is provided . All rooms open to a terrace with views. Everything was more than the expected! The people were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and as expected. The view was magic. The food from the tavern in metochi was excellent and fresh!

That should say it all. A perfect little cottage. When you stay here, you suddenly feel like family rather than a guest. The hospitality from George and staff is not to be compared. Hungry? Have a walk through the kitchen, lift the lids on the stove and tell them what you want. The food is wonderful, the feeling of being home, even better. The view and the gardens are both 1st class, the touch of background music from the 70's & 80's makes for a perfect atmosphere. The location for hikers in spot on. Already planning my next extended visit.

Offering city views, Villa Kastri in Gavdos features accommodation and a garden. House was very spacious, with the kitchen and living room on the ground floor and the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor. It had a spacious terrace behind and it was located within walking distance of the 2 restaurants in Kastri village and the bakery. The beds were comfy and had air conditioning in both rooms. WiFi worked perfectly (I booked the place specifically for the internet, as I was working both days remotely). Overall I never expected to find something that nice on Gavdos island the Villa Kastri was a pleasant surprise.
