Laurent was incredibly accommodating by picking us up at the port and arranged a scooter for us to explore the island. Also offered great recommendations for food and assisted us with a great snorkling experience. The place is perfectly located near a beautiful Instragrammable beach just around the corner. Laurent and his wife went out their way to make our stay perfect. We will always remember Karimunjawa! ;-)

We really enjoyed the time making Jamu with our lovely teacher. The strong massages were appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the lounge terrace. And we completely loved the bike tout of surroundings on the monday morning: a great memory as the Jamu lesson. We saw beautiful fields, crossed lively villages with kids in the school courts and drank coconut water along the way.

Such variety of breakfast, help with booking snorkelling, scooters, boat back to mainland. Lending his snorkel life jacket and crash helmets. Most of all he gave us so much of his time, chatting, helping out. He is such an interesting man where his knowledge of life is vast. Marcus really did make our holiday on this very special island memorable and something we will never forget

It may not be a well-known international hotel chain, but in everything this hotel surpasses, for example, a Hilton on the Nusa Dua beach in Bali three times over. Great breakfast, extremely friendly and unobtrusive staff, wonderful little details like macaroni biscuits that welcome you in the room. We were in the hotel twice in the space of five days, the second time we took the best room at the top of the hotel, which is the real poetry of the hotel's beauty. Praise!
