Situated in Iboih, 200 metres from Iboih Beach, Santi Garden Bungalows features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a private beach area. This place is run with real love and care, which makes it truly special. Santi really goes above and beyond for her guests. Special mention also to Robi for the warm welcome and for generally being super helpful and friendly. The garden is beautiful and clearly a labour of love. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with all the essentials. It's lovely to lie in your hammock on the balcony and listen to the sounds of nature - you really feel like you're in the jungle, which you pretty much are. There's superb snorkelling just a few steps away from the bungalows, with a huge variety of fish. It gets even more impressive if you head over to Rubia Island just opposite - it's easy to get boat rides across. All in all, this is just a perfect place to stay as far as I'm concerned. I'm planning to be back again soon, for longer next time!

The staff made the stay - they are so welcoming, make you feel at home, it is a relaxed atmosphere but also the service is exceptional. Blade was amazing, so professional, made sure we were always ok, fed, watered and comfortable - but he is also just such a great person! Also thank you to Bronte for the conversations, Ichan and our guide Rosie for our jungle adventure, Aldi - an excellent manager, Agung and Ipnu rides and for helping us out with various things and to the lovely Idra! Thank you to the amazing women who seem to do most of the cooking, the food is INCREDIBLE! I actually mainly ate at The Jungle Inn for every meal my entire stay as the food was so good, the menu varied and good value for money. Our room was so beautiful, he had the honeymoon room which had a private view over a waterfall, a bath/shower overlooking the jungle with hot water, a large entrance area (where we had massages one day), bedroom with 4 poster bed in which I would wake to the sound of monkeys and watch them swinging through the jungle before I am even out of bed! A short walk from the Inn and you are down the river with the jungle hanging over you... we got engaged here and the staff made it such a special experience for us. Thank you, love Sarah and Dean!

If you want to have a good time and SEE ORANGUTANS this is the place, the team (we had two guides) knows the place like the palm of their hand, they split and search, thus, 2x chance to see orangs!! I consider this an unbeatable technique. While on our tour, we met some people that told us they saw 2 orangs in 2 days, a couple that saw 1 in their whole tour, we saw 8 orangs in just 6 hours or so!! first we saw a teen orang that started following us from the tree tops, then we crossed paths with a mama orang and her baby orang, then a single male adult, then a couple male-female, one more young adult and, THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN A LONG TIME, we were tubing back down the river to the guest house and we saw this HUGE orang, it looked almost 2m and like +200lbs Breakfast was good, super good KopiSusu, omelette, banana pancakes, everything was delicious!
