Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Warm comfortable bedroom . Wonderful staff. Felt very safe. Food was excellent.

We were attending a wedding in the Lodge at Ashford, this hotel was just a very short spin up the road, perfectly located, clean, spacious, large comfortable bed, tea & coffee in the room, big shower and most importantly the room was warm (we were in minus degrees) and the hotel even added another heater into our room.

She gave the best recommendations on where to go for dinner and where to go here local traditional Irish music. For breakfast there were many options to choose from, and it was delicious! The day of our arrival she also gave us apple cake and tea which was lovely! The family room we stayed in was very clean with a huge bathroom. It was an easy drive to Galway city. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again!
