Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. The view from our third floor bedroom was stunning as it stretched all the way to the lake. We travelled with our dog, who enjoyed running around the expansive grounds. The hotel was rustic in style, charming, and spotlessly clean. Plenty of nice places to sit, both inside and out. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the grounds was lovely, well cooked food served in an intimate setting.

This boutique, family-run hotel is situated in the beautiful ancient center of Castiglione del Lago, a charming, picturesque village on Trasimeno Lake, in a lush, green part of Umbria. This was really great!!! The hotel is located inside old town which is magnificent, the view is fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, room was clean with everything in place. We were asked what would we like to have for breakfast. Parking is nearby, free. I would recommend this hotel.

Set in its garden with furnished patio and surrounded by the countryside, Le Macerine offers free WiFi throughout and a free swimming pool. The hotel was in a very quiet neighbourhood, but very close to the lake and 10 minutes walk from city center. The room was very spacious and it had a big bed. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bathroom was very complete and comfortable. There was a fridge available. The rooms are actually cabins with the door going outside directly, which is very good for COVID. Breakfast was typical Italian with salty and sweet food that you could select yourself. There were some homemade tasty cakes. The staff was incredible friendly; they recommended us good restaurants around and they helped us contact us the bikes rent place after we could not deliver the bikes on time. The parking is wide and it was enough. The hotel had pool and an area to stay and relax.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice location, 5m walking to the historical area and restaurants. Free parking as a good advantage.

Situated on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, Hotel Kursaal is set among extensive gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. A lovely hotel in what appears to be a former private lakeside palazzo in a quiet wooded setting. Our room overlooked the pool and lake, with a spacious patio-balcony. Very comfortable bed. Room very clean and nicely appointed. The restaurant on the premises was wonderful and although the hotel seemed quiet and unpopulated during the day, the dining room was quite full for dinner---so reservations recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. It rained unfortunately during most of our stay, but the comfort of our room and the hotel made for a nice place to relax and unwind from busy traveling. The lakefront area of Passignano ---a ten minute walk up the road--is beautiful with a grand promenade and lots of nice cafes and restaurants.
