Staying at Albergo Ristorante da Settimio was a true pleasure. Francesco and his staff run a lovely small hotel and restaurant that has been in his family for 3 generations. It was a pleasure to be greeted warmly upon our arrival, with the assurance that if we needed anything we need only ask. Francesco loves Lago Trasimeno, and is proud to follow in the line of a family who committed their lives to hospitality and hard work. A stay here is a return to being a valued guest. Our room was simple with a balcony facing the lake. The bed was very comfortable. It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay: well cleaned and disinfected, small fridge, WiFi, A/C, screens on the windows. We would happily return here again, and will recommend it to others.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. The view from our third floor bedroom was stunning as it stretched all the way to the lake. We travelled with our dog, who enjoyed running around the expansive grounds. The hotel was rustic in style, charming, and spotlessly clean. Plenty of nice places to sit, both inside and out. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the grounds was lovely, well cooked food served in an intimate setting.

Set in its garden with furnished patio and surrounded by the countryside, Le Macerine offers free WiFi throughout and a free swimming pool. The hotel was in a very quiet neighbourhood, but very close to the lake and 10 minutes walk from city center. The room was very spacious and it had a big bed. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bathroom was very complete and comfortable. There was a fridge available. The rooms are actually cabins with the door going outside directly, which is very good for COVID. Breakfast was typical Italian with salty and sweet food that you could select yourself. There were some homemade tasty cakes. The staff was incredible friendly; they recommended us good restaurants around and they helped us contact us the bikes rent place after we could not deliver the bikes on time. The parking is wide and it was enough. The hotel had pool and an area to stay and relax.

Located in a peaceful location the historical centre of Passignano Sul Trasimeno, Hotel Trasimeno offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a balcony. Passignano Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice location, 5m walking to the historical area and restaurants. Free parking as a good advantage.

Situated on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, Hotel Kursaal is set among extensive gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. A lovely hotel in what appears to be a former private lakeside palazzo in a quiet wooded setting. Our room overlooked the pool and lake, with a spacious patio-balcony. Very comfortable bed. Room very clean and nicely appointed. The restaurant on the premises was wonderful and although the hotel seemed quiet and unpopulated during the day, the dining room was quite full for dinner---so reservations recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. It rained unfortunately during most of our stay, but the comfort of our room and the hotel made for a nice place to relax and unwind from busy traveling. The lakefront area of Passignano ---a ten minute walk up the road--is beautiful with a grand promenade and lots of nice cafes and restaurants.
