Surrounded by the Campania countryside and overlooking Mount Vesuvius, Il Nido Sorrento is a 10-minute drive from Sorrento. It offers free Wi-Fi and a free summer shuttle to the city centre. The views were magnificent! The staff especially the lovely man working in reception, I’m sorry we didn’t get his name, we’re incredibly helpful and accommodating. The shuttle service is so helpful as the hotel is quite far from the town of Sorrento but the views and shuttle access make up for this. The breakfast was much better than we were expecting.

Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. The views are breathtaking. You can see Vesuvio from some rooms and the bar area. They also have a beautiful garden with plenty of seating to relax. There is parking, and it is quiet. Breakfast is typical: bread, cold cuts, cheese, and fruit. The bar is available most of the day, and they have a nice pool. The air conditioning in the room is outstanding, best we've had in an Italian hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, and spoke perfect English. They were always willing to help with a smile on their face.

The establishment is also famous for its delicious cuisine. it had a spectacular view the owner was amazing he even drove us to the shop to buy bus tickets so we could get around. must have dinner at the hotel 10/10. breakfast every morning was great

The hotel itself is great the route up is not made for a large car but the parking is very secure with a electronic gate. the rooms are bright and comfy with great balcony views and walk in showers. I couldn’t say anything bad about it. Gio the host was lovely as well as the other staff, they gave us advice on where to eat and were we should visit. he even picked some plums off of his own tree for us to have he was brilliant. we were there for 6 days and we wish we could stay longer 😁
