Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. The views are breathtaking. You can see Vesuvio from some rooms and the bar area. They also have a beautiful garden with plenty of seating to relax. There is parking, and it is quiet. Breakfast is typical: bread, cold cuts, cheese, and fruit. The bar is available most of the day, and they have a nice pool. The air conditioning in the room is outstanding, best we've had in an Italian hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, and spoke perfect English. They were always willing to help with a smile on their face.

Gio the host was lovely as well as the other staff, they gave us advice on where to eat and were we should visit. he even picked some plums off of his own tree for us to have he was brilliant. we were there for 6 days and we wish we could stay longer 😁
