Ossidiana ligger lige ved en vulkansk sandstrand i fisker-kvarteret Scari, blot 200 m fra havnen. Der er udsigt til Middelhavet samt gratis wi-fi. The room was spacious, and it showed a little bit Eastern (Indian) style, which was great, and a balkon faced to the sea, so I could hear the voice of the waves, when I was sleeping.

The staff offered advice for exploring the island and were always happy to help arrange taxis and tours.

I liked everything. The rooom was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

Large room, quiet and clean. The pillows are amazing. Probably for the first time ever in a hotel, pension, hut, etc I got pillows that not only you can actually sleep on, but they are that good. The accommodation is also located only 5mins walking distance to Magmatrek, for those who want to experience hiking the volcano at night.

The photos on booking do not reflect the charm of this place. It's beautiful! Lush vegetation everywhere, wonderful climate, wonderful little houses. We got a house with a separate kitchen outside. It makes you want to stay here forever. The owner was very nice and helpful. He helped us organize our ascent to Stromboli.

Stromboli is an exceptional place, an untypical village all painted in white, with cats everywhere, and beautiful trees, flowers and fruits in every garden. And so is Casa Schicciola. Its garden (feels like living in a splendid botanical garden), the confort of its terrace, the pieces of advice given by the host and the locals (recommendation about when to go to the Osservatorio, the mountain, ...), makes you feel on another planet, or other times, and also warmly welcome even if you are the hundred thousandth tourist they meet this season ... The house is very large with 3 bedrooms and well maintained. A fully equipped kitchen and very large garden with BBQ, external shower and 2 external bathrooms. The house is outside the touristic zone of Stromboli therefore it is much quieter, more peaceful and less crowded than other areas. There is a beautiful beach just 3mins walk away which was never crowded when we were there.
