A big shout out to Valentina who could not have been more helpful. A very clean and modern property with all the facilities you would expect from a much more expensive hotel. Breakfast is excellent value and with an extensive range of fresh food available.

Hotel Riviera & Maximilian's ligger langs kysten av Trieste, bare 800 meter fra det pittoreske Miramare-slottet og bukta Grignano. Beautiful traditional (older), but very clean and very well maintened hotel. Really at least 4*. Especially gastronomy was more than excellent. Breakfest were amazing (never forget Tommy = he really enjoyed it and we as well). The view from breakfast restaurant and daily restaurant was beautiful direct to the see through large windows. View from room and from the bathroom also to the Adraitic see . No problem with parking = large and comfortaly parking places (VW Tiguan, no tiny parking places !) Very, very nice staff, very helpful and funny. We didn´t want to go back home.

Set in Sistiana in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Resort & Spa, features a fitness and wellness centre, and views of the sea. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was beautiful with big rooms and beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious.

Set in a peaceful location 5 minutes' walk from the beach, Villa Borgo Duino offers an outdoor pool with sun loungers and parasols. Guest rooms come with tiled floors and functional furnishings. Beautifull villa, every single detail is carefully selected. From the porch you can see the Duino castle,. It takes 20 min by car to Trieste. Castello Miramare is really close. Private parking available at request, free of charge. Breakfast is nice (there is salty and sweet option). The room was really comfortable and cosy. Everything super clean. The hosts are educated and nice people, ready to answer all the questions of the needy guests. Beautifull stay.

Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet daily. very nice and newly refurbished small hotel. the receptionist was incredibly friendly, breakfast was wonderful too. the hotel is situated right at the junction of the sentiero rilke/Rilkeweg which is perfect for a morning run along the coast ;)

Offering free wired internet and private parking, Dependance Lipa features classic-style rooms. It is located on the Karst Plateau, only 1.5 km from the Slovenian border and 8 km from Trieste. I love this place and I admire the family who owes it. Very nice, kind and helpful people. The breakfasts are very good, the rooms are always tidy. If you travel by car, there is a private parking slot. Also, a wonderful restaurant is just nearby with delicious Italian food.
