Overlooking the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, all tents at Fairmont Mara have a private veranda. Game drives, an outdoor heated pool with bar, and massage tents are provided. The whole experience was 10/10, from the welcoming with a cold towel and a fresh juice whilst checking in, to the tent and overall facilities of the club, the delicious and quality of every single meal we had and most of all the amazing game drives with our ranger Lenkoko who went above and beyond so we could see not only the big 5 and the great migration but a lot more. Hats off to all the staff for making our stay so amazing we didn’t want to leave.

Muthu Keekorok Lodge, Maasai Mara, Narok is the first property located in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and it offers traditional accommodations with private patios. Muthu is the recommended place to stay if you come to the main Mara Park Service is amazing, special thanks to the outstanding attention from Judy, but all of the staff is great The hotel has a Hippo-Pool and Bar that is much better than advertised, here you can come to wind down with a nice cold local beer after a safari game drive, as the sun goes down Hippos become more active. The hotel is not fenced first night we saw a buffalo in the property, close to the room (1239). Sunsets from the patio look amazing, also there is a bonfire every night where you can just enjoy or talk to other guests

It is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for something hidden away in the Masai forest and feels like home. You are nestled amongst the thickness of the masai forest and you wake up to the sounds of birds and monkeys and more. It felt like home the entire time. The people at the camp also make you feel just that. Our fav part was coming back to a cozy bed at the end of a long day with hot water bottles to warm us up.
