Jade Hotel is close to the airport and is a great stay if you want to visit Yala National park; Birds Resort and Ridiyama park (to see all the animals). Great manager Mr. Claude has helped us find taxis at a fare price and suggested on excursions and relocation. He also offered us a better room when my daughter had some unexpected allergy and even helped us with doctor visit. My children were unable to eat breakfast because the food was too different for European taste and spicy, so Mr. Claude offered us bread, butter, egg and sausage making sure we are fed. He was always there to help us with everything and we felt safe. If you come to stay, you can ask him about excursions and places to visit. Food: we’ve had chicken soups for lunch and had dinners in Jade Green. Food is great; very delicious and not spicy (if you ask so). They can cook our food with all the local tasty herbs which makes the food great. Hotel can help you arrange taxi from the airport. If you found this place don’t doubt and go because it is absolutely a gem! The views from your room at the national park and wetland are beautiful! Many birds and buffalo’s right in front. They arranged a great fresh tasty lunch when we arrived. A lovely afternoon safari with a great guide/driver very respectful for nature and knowledgeable about animals and speaks good english. The park is amazing!! Small but so beautiful and full of animals. No Leopard but also no other tourists! You are truly alone with the elephants, buffalos, monkeys and thousands of birds. And to finish it off we got another amazing dinner. The family is absolutely lovely, great conversations we only stayed one night but would really recommend to stay at least 2!
