Location near the centre and near the local village, wonderful bliss, beautiful garden, in the middle of unspoiled nature. Owner and staff could not be more kind, attentive and went over and beyond expectations to make us feel welcome - gave good advice on our overall plans in Sri Lanka, showed around, organized transportation, visit to local village etc. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and just beautiful with everything you need - from European adapter to mosquito repellent. Food and drinks just lovely with both local and western options. Really 10 is not enough to rate this experience!

It's a beautiful place in Kandy, perfectly in calm area , but very close to the center) I've been extending my stay every day:) the people that work there are amazing.. and the room, I would rather say an apartment 😍 nothing better than to chill in the swimming pool after the noisy, dusty day in busy Kandy!

I was pleasantly surprised by nice staff, they were really helpful. Rooms were amaizing and had beautiful view. We stayed for 9 days and had different brakfast every day and it was very tasty.

Located in Kandy, 3 km from Kandy railway station, The Castle by Don Louis provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a restaurant. From 5 accommodations that we had ( same level from price and offer), this one was at least 1 level higher! - very very clean! - the owners were always there to help ( even got us discounts to other stuff around- like massages ) - the breakfast had everything! Best coffee, awesome food - dinner was also really tasty - the tuktuk driver took us everywhere, managed to get us best prices wherever we wanted to go - we extended our stay because we felt so good here

Set in Sigiriya, 3.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cottage Sigiriya offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Set in Habarana, 11 km from Pidurangala Rock, Gabaa Resort & Spa - Habarana offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Such a beautiful property with kind and helpful staff. We booked various tours through Gabaa and we were able to see so much in the area, including dozens of elephants! We definitely would stay again!

The guys from the reception and the owner were very kind, the place is very beautiful in the middle of the nature,everything is new. Great! We spent wonderful time în this hotel!

Set in Kandy, 3.4 km from Bogambara Stadium, The Summit offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Firstly, the view from the room is out of the world. The cloud was in the balcony in the afternoon. Unbelievable view even from the bed. The staffs are very cordial and supportive. Food was good. A must stay in Kandy.
