Mermaid Hotel & Club is located at Mahawaskaduwa fishing village in Kalutara, about 39 km from Colombo. This tropical retreat features 2 outdoor pools, a health spa and free parking. The property was simple, nicely laid out, everything within walkable distance and I felt totally safe.

Offering beachfront rooms with private balconies, Turyaa Kalutaraboasts garden landscapes, an outdoor pool with bar and fitness centre. It offers free parking and 4 dining options. Truly amazing stay at Turyaa. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The view was breathtaking, specially at sunset. The variety in food was good. The staff were friendly but professional. The spa is worth a visit if you are there. Would definitely visit again.

The place was very neat and clean. We stayed a room near pool area and it was a bit noisy due to the crowded pool on the weekend. Room and bathroom is big and clean, equipped with kettle and tea/coffee. The hotel has an inhouse bar with local and foreign liquor therefore, you can order beer, wine on a reasonable rate. Note that there is no minibar in the room. Ice is available on request from the bar. Hotel has its own generator and you don’t have to worry about power cuts. Specially I have to mention the excellent service of the hotel manager who is very kind and concerned about the customer satisfaction.

The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
