Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en biedt uitzicht op het zwembad in Kitulgala. Klein luxueus boutique hotel met uiterst net zwembad om even volledig tot rust te komen. Ontbijt en avondmaal werd volledig naar eigen voorkeur samengesteld en was uitstekend. Bv. ook koffie van op het terrein geoogste koffiebonen.

Old Bridge Riverside Hotel heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en watersportfaciliteiten in Kitulgala. A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

Geweldig eten en vriendelijk personeel ze doen alles om je verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Schone kamers.

Rosyth Estate House bevindt zich in Kegalle, op 32 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een buitenzwembad en een tuin. We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" ligt recht tegenover de rivier de Ma-Oya. Vanuit uw kamer kunt u olifanten bekijken. Het heeft een restaurant en biedt roomservice. Het zicht op de olifanten is uniek. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Elepath Lodge- Pinnawala is gelegen in Pinnawala, op 34 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Het was geweldig! Perfecte locatie, de olifanten lopen recht onder je neus door en je kunt vanaf hier zo naar de rivier lopen zonder ticket te kopen. Kamers zijn groot en het bed is kingsize. Heel vriendelijk personeel en heel schoon.

Cafe Pinnalanda ligt in Pinnawala en beschikt over een buitenzwembad op 100 m afstand. The staff greeted us at our tuk tuk and took care of our bags. Our room was nice and clean. There's a mini bar, for a fee, and a store right below. It's directly across the street from the elephant orphanage. In the morning, around 10:00, you can watch a herd of elephant cross the street. Quite a site

What a seriously magical place! Coming from busy Colombo and finally breathing again in the middle of those giantic green mountains. The little house we were living in was the ideal place to calm down, to relax and to reconnect with the beauty of nature. No pool? No problem! The fresh water stream with crystal clear and cooling water (which is 1min by feet far of the accommodation) is way better than every pool we could have asked for. With little curious fishes inside, that will give you a normally expensive paid treatment. In the area are also waterfalls and plenty of possibility to hike. But come with a scooter or anything, otherwise you will depending on tuk tik, which is neither a problem, as there are always plenty of them waiting to bring you anywhere. But what we really loved the most is the beautiful manager, that became within 2 days like a friend. A young well english speaking and always caring, lady that lives with her family over there. As I was sick when I arrived she prepared even an ayurvedic treatment for me, a hot inhalation with herbs of the property. Another day she joined us for a little exploration and acted as our personal photographer. We had so much fun! And we seriously gonna miss her and her amazing property. Her mom is the cooking chef and performs every breakfast and dinner some magic in the kitchen. They also cared for some special requests and I enjoyed all the food they served us sooooo much!
