New spacious room with modern bathroom and lovely private patio; excellent pool to cool off after morning safari or before evening one; very friendly and helpful manager who was always smiling and sharing info about elephants with us over meals; very good food (really liked the rice and curry!) which we weren’t necessarily expecting from a hotel restaurant. And the best part: seeing elephants across the road in park during breakfast l!! Side note: be careful about where you book in this area. The hotel we originally booked canceled on us day of when they found out we’d booked a safari through someone else (not them). We were lucky to find this current hotel who said it was our decision to book safari with them or not (although I’m sure their safaris are good too!).

Beautiful bedroom with nice balcony. All super clean. Milan is very friendly and helpfull. The food is delicious. All in all 10/10!

Vimanra hotel is by far one of the most beautiful places you can find in udawalawe. Its a small family-run hotel located in a lush and green forest, next to a lake. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of birds and taking a dip in the (very clean) swimming pool. The garden is full of plants and fruit trees such as mangos, papayas and pineapple. There's even a small lake filled with fish. The owners are very very kind and helpful. They booked a safari for us and even made us a very, very good dinner on the day that all shops and restaurants were closed. You'll feel immediately at home and at peace in this place. The family room is huge and the bathroom is very big! Shower and toilet are separated which is very convenient for a group of 3 or 4. If you've been in busy Kandy or galle, then this is the perfect place to calm down and enjoy the beautiful lush nature of Sri Lanka . And not to forget: the beds were very comfy and the rooms have airconditioning

Jungle Paradise asub Udawalawes, 11 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, välibassein ja aed. Kohapeal on turismiinfo, restoran ja terrass. A super and very large room with a lovely sit-out area. Thoughtfully furnished room- everything there and in the place you would expect it to be. A great pool. A great location- nature all around you and birds chirping and singing their hearts out. It's also close to the safari as well as the dam reservoir which is a decent small trip at sunset. Super help by the owner with the transport to the property and onward. And with the safari as well. Clear, concise and prompt communication gave confidence while planning the trip with kids. A nice restaurant- we loved the pork with coconut rotis and the dhal. And lastly, but very importantly, lovely staff. Always with big and genuine smiles and ever ready to help, they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Chanuka, Shamik and Nupun- they were exceptional.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The rooms were comfortable, the food reasonably priced and delicious, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The highlight was the safari tour arranged by the resort at a great price – an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and quiet place with very, very helpful and always smiling owner. We really loved his professional attitude, he had everything well organized! We loved the food - during this stay, we had both breakfast and dinner included in the price. Rooms are exactly as on pictures, Fantastic Jungle view from rooms! Amazing to listen and watch nature and animals.

Hotell Walawa Reach asub Udawalawes, 6,5 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja restoran. This place is just to good to be true! They should increase the price. We loved the spacious room, the giant shower with hot water, the swimmingpool, te view and the meal that they prepared especially for us. It's just a few minutes away from the National park.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this accommodation! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. It's definitely a kid-friendly place, and they made sure our little ones had a blast. The safari they organized was breathtaking, and the jungle garden with its beautiful flowers, plants, and fruits was a delight, especially for the children who got to try some of the fruits. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was the only place we stayed in Sri Lanka with consistent hot water for showering. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Uda Walawe!
