Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Explore Sinharaja Rain Forest Tour Camp Camp is situated in Deniyaya entrance in the UNESCO site of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. In terms of location, style, room design, the owner's attention to details, food, staff, organization - this is the best place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. and it’s especially incredible that all this was in a relict forest, where it was obviously much more difficult to organize everything at this high level. The atmosphere of the place and the energy of the people working in this hotel are amazing. Upon arrival, Ice tea was like a friendly gesture, a flower on the table, cool room design, floor-to-ceiling windows, a view of the pond with water lilies in the fog in the morning - indescribable. very very tasty and varied breakfasts and generally very tasty prepared food. the best owner Prasad who's meeting guests like old friend and always in touch and manager of the restaurant Tikiriki, and wonderful women who work for our pleasure. Surrounded by picturesque mountain views, Birds Paradise Hotel provides charming accommodation in Kalawana. Authentic Sri Lankan-style meals can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurant. The wonderful place to stay, friendly owner (Nimal), the best rice and curry we've ever tried in Sri Lanka! The room has all basic things you need: comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower with good water pressure, AC. The hotel surrounded by forest, just 2 mins to Sinharaja NP office, but many endemic animals can be seen right from your balcony! I've photographed a couple of grey hornbills (male and female), blue magpie and even purple-faced langurs (thanks to Nimal again!). We've spent just one night there, but it's definitely worth a longer stay if you have enough time to relax in peaceful jungle area. P.S. Inside Sinharaja forest we were guided by Nadika (ask her at the national park office). She's a good guide and even found a pair of Sri Lanka frogmouths for us [you're hardly find these birds yourself ;)]

If you are a nature lover,this is the best place you should be.....I spent some wonderful days at Rainforest Mount Villa. The view and landscape is something special-amazing - the villas are right inside the rain forest!!!! And the balcony on the riverbank it was something I really enjoyed. Sarath - the owner of this lovely place, its an amazing man, an excellent jungle guide, professional, generous, and very friendly. It was really nice days that we experienced and we felt right welcome. Finally, there were great tips for our further trip. When we missed the bus just a little, he even drove it miles behind him, so we still get him.

Sinharaja Forest Edge is situated right on the edge of the UNESCO site Sinharaja Rain Forest. The property offers complimentary transportation to the rain forest from Mederipitiya Village. We had a flawless stay at this wonderful place. Everything was perfect, from the impeccable service to the delightful food. The affordable prices added to the overall satisfaction, and the inclusion of a fantastic nightclub made our experience even more enjoyable. A solid 5 stars from us!

The forest tour that was organized by the owner was great, we requested for a short tour as our stay was short. Owner was good enough to accommodate our need, thanks. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and well versed in English. We loved the peacefulness when it hits dark, the hotel and surrounding were extremely quite, the only noises we heard were the insects and frog, we loved the serenity. Food was good and quick. We loved the location of the open restaurant, it was raining at the time, we got real rain forest experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. We loved the hospitality of the staff. There is nothing to complaint. We would definitely go there once again with kids when we can.

360 Rainforest is situated in Deniyaya, 102 km from Hikkaduwa. Galle is 83 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. The accommodation has a seating area. The staff were are very helpful recommended if you went to be in a real forest setting close to the park entrance.
