This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hotel was absolutely beautiful but what made this place special was the people. We were welcomed and treated like family. We checked in a little late just due to exploring Sri Lanka and the GM even told us not to worry about check out time the next day- take our time, enjoy the pool and relax. The hotel only has 3 rooms so the staff is very attentive and take such great care of you. The meals provided by the chef were also delicious and very well prepared. Wonderful place - would highly recommend!

Wild Culture Yala se encuentra en Parque nacional Yala, a 18 min a pie de Playa de Kirinda, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en este hotel. Las instalaciones son espectaculares, muy lujosas y muy nuevas. La piscina climatizada es una maravilla. Además el hotel está rodeado de búfalos lo que ofrece una estampa preciosa. Upul fue un maravilloso anfitrión que consiguió que nuestra estancia fuera la mejor experiencia que hemos tenido en nuestro viaje a Sri Lanka. Nos dio mucha pena despedirnos de él y del resto del equipo. El Safari de día completo con un guía especializado nos permitió ver todos los animales que se encuentran en el parque. Vimos elefantes, un oso, un leopardo, cocodrilos, búfalos etc. Muy recomendable contratarlo con ellos y a buen precio. La comida del hotel es exquisita. Si visitas el país, este hotel es visita obligada!

Elegant Lake House está en Tissamaharama, a 2,3 km de Tissa Wewa, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. Randy was a great host. We arrived close to 9pm and he stayed in touch with my driver. He welcomed us with a delicious drink and fruits. We had to go to a safari tour at 6am the next morning and he also prepared a snack pack for us. Very delicious and everything at no cost! Very professional and attentive service. I wish I could stayed longer.

Double Lake View Tissa & Safari se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 3 km de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. He estado una sola noche en el hotel y me ha sabido a poco! A destacar la hospitalidad de los responsables que intentaran ayudar y aconsejarte en todo, así como la limpieza de la habitación, que estaba impecable. No dudaría en repetir

Village Mango Resort Yala se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 4,9 km de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. El lugar en si es espectacular. Aunque no está cerca de restaurantes ni centro vale mucho la pena por el emplazamiento. Nos organizaron todo el tema del safari y todo genial. El equipo fue muy amable y nos ayudó con todo.

Hotel River Front se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 2,6 km de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Hotel and staff are so very accommodating. We were upgraded to the tree house which was a fun experience, overlooking the river. Room and hotel is very clean. Bed very comfortable. Pool is lovely and towels available poolside. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and less expensive than in town. The hotel helped book us a safari and provided a boxed breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel was also delicious and lots of effort was made to accommodate by food intolerance. Highly recommend!

Lavender Home Yala Safari está en Tissamaharama, a 2,9 km de Tissa Wewa, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. We just stayed for one night so we could do a Safari in the Yala National park. We chose Lavender Home because it was walking distance (1km) from the bus station and because they could arrange a safari tour including breakfast. The place is run by really kind and helpful people who did their best to make our stay as great as possible.The rooms are nice with a terrace overlooking the rice paddies. At arrival we received a welcome juice with fruit from their own garden. In the evening we had a lovely homemade dinner including typical Sri Lankan dessert. The safari the next day was great! The owner arranged a private driver who knew the right places and took the time so we could take pictures and look at the animals. We left at 4:45 in the morning so we were at the gates as one of the first, before the park opened. We saw multiple groups of elephants (including baby), wild boar, deer, crocodiles, mongoose, monkeys, various birds and 1 very distant leopard. When we got back around 12 we still had access to our room so we were able to have a shower and pack our bags very relaxed. The owner arranged a free tuktuk for us to the bus station so we did not even have to walk. If you are planning to visit Yala (or another NP) we would definitely recommend Lavender House!

El Flameback Eco Lodge se encuentra en Yala, a 42 km de Situlpawwa, y ofrece servicio de conserjería y conexión WiFi gratuita. El concepto de tienda de lujo estilo safari en África me parece atractivo. El alojamiento está frente a un lago y ofrece servicios como organización de safaris en Yala o masajes. El restaurante es también muy acogedor.

The most friendly staff you will ever meet. I can't thank them all enough for their generosity and kindness. Key Points 1. A/C works great 2. The best homemade meals of your life 3. Stable wi-fi (especially for the area) - if you have issues speak with staff and they will resolve immediately. 4. Comfy Beds 5. CLEAN EVERYWHERE 6. Beautiful grounds We also booked a safari with them but the rain was so bad the park shut down and turned us away. We asked if we could receive a refund and they gave us back our money with no hesitation or argument. This hotel is run by honest, hard working, and loving people. You will regret not booking here.
