Located in Yala, 600 metres from Nidangala Beach, Rock Wild Yala provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hotel was absolutely beautiful but what made this place special was the people. We were welcomed and treated like family. We checked in a little late just due to exploring Sri Lanka and the GM even told us not to worry about check out time the next day- take our time, enjoy the pool and relax. The hotel only has 3 rooms so the staff is very attentive and take such great care of you. The meals provided by the chef were also delicious and very well prepared. Wonderful place - would highly recommend!

The Manager Saliya made sure our stay is amazing. All the hotel staff are amazing, Shehan made sure every thing we desired shall be done. The rooms are so clean and tidy and done by Yasad and Tharaka . The pool was amazing and always clean , taken care by Manoj. The hotel staff also made sure we have daily fun activity inside and outside the property, we did shooting and they arranged BBQ night with Bon fire and fire works for our anniversary. simply this hotel was our best experience in Sri Lanka.

We arrived close to 9pm and he stayed in touch with my driver. He welcomed us with a delicious drink and fruits. We had to go to a safari tour at 6am the next morning and he also prepared a snack pack for us. Very delicious and everything at no cost! Very professional and attentive service. I wish I could stayed longer.

The family who lives her is so friendly and nice. they took really good care of us and prepared fruit and coffee at any time. the place has a beautiful view overlooking the lake, where you can se buffalos and even a crocodile. He took us on a tour around the lake to show us. it’s beautiful. He also helped us book a safari trip

Cleanliness and serendipity are their assets. They arranged safari for us and their Chef is excellent yet a bit expensive.

Hotel and staff are so very accommodating. We were upgraded to the tree house which was a fun experience, overlooking the river. Room and hotel is very clean. Bed very comfortable. Pool is lovely and towels available poolside. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and less expensive than in town. The hotel helped book us a safari and provided a boxed breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel was also delicious and lots of effort was made to accommodate by food intolerance. Highly recommend!

Milshani is a host, who takes care for her guests. She organized all safaris for me in advance and each was worth the money. If it was leopards in Yala, elephants in Udawalawe or birds and crocodiles in Bundala, nature lovers will enjoy. The Sri Lankan food was exceptional, Milshani and her mother even gave me cooking lesson. The location of the homestay is away from the noise in Tissamaharama and I loved overlooking the rice fields from the veranda. Super homestay, super hosts. Would come again.

Set in Yala, 42 km from Situlpawwa, Flameback Eco Lodge features concierge services and free WiFi. The environment with animals and lake is really enrich my stay experience. We enjoy the meal with lots of fruits combination and the food quality is really high in here. The staffs are really nice and helpful in here, they support us for everything and try to meet all of our requests. One of the unforgettable memory in here was, there was monkey try to open my room tent entrance, I love this experience which make me feel like I'm living in jungle. That's was really great stay and I will miss this place a lot.

Stable wi-fi (especially for the area) - if you have issues speak with staff and they will resolve immediately. 4. Comfy Beds 5. CLEAN EVERYWHERE 6. Beautiful grounds We also booked a safari with them but the rain was so bad the park shut down and turned us away. We asked if we could receive a refund and they gave us back our money with no hesitation or argument. This hotel is run by honest, hard working, and loving people. You will regret not booking here.
