The camping site Baiļi is located 2 km away from the town of Valmiera. It offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a sauna. Valmiera Train Station is about 4 km away. Very nice unique place, the main building looks like a little castle built into a hill, nice view from the balcony, special atmosphere. Very well kept.

At first I was sceptical about this hotel, but the room turned out to be very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Nothing outstanding, just a classic hotel room, but everything looked and felt new. There was a fridge and a kettle in the room. The price was very reasonable comparing to other options in Valmiera for weekend. Also, in my case it was great that I was able to place a last minute booking literally on the same day of our arrival. Normally summer weekends are fully booked everywhere.
