Stunning island setting with view to Isletas and towards Mount Mombacho on the other side of the island. It felt magical as we were the sole visitors. The room was well appointed and luxurious. A shame our hi-tech shower had no hot water, for this price I expect a high end bathroom experience, the water was cold the mini bar was empty and no tea/coffee making facility. The staff however were friendly.

Isleta El Espino is a private island in Lake Nicaragua, just outside of the colonial city of Granada. It features an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. Very friendly and attentive staff. All clean and in great shape. Had a lovely time.

The breakfast was delicious. Carlos and his wife are amazing hosts: very kind, gentle and gave us good tips of what to do and see. We had a problem with our rent a car and they were very helpful and very kind, let us stay longer and wait in the garden, and even served us yummy lunch. Thousand thanks!
