My partner and I loved the friendliness of our hosts, the delicious food served, and the spectacular location this accommodation was nestled in. Mr. B's family was so friendly, they included us in their son's first rice feeding and their other son's birthday which included dal bhat, beer, and cake. The food on the other hand was something we looked forward to throughout the day; our favourite was the tomato onion cheese omelet served with jacket potatoes and salad, yum. The location was astounding, it bordered Bardiya National Park and the gates to the park were a two minute walk away. Additionally, Mr.B's place offered guided jeep safaris, walking tours, and rafting safaris through the park; we did each and saw so much wildlife including rhinos and tigers!

If you want to experience a truly rustic stay in a jungle safari like setting this is the place we enjoyed the Jeep safari and espescially the walking safari The owners son Ari had excellent english, he and his brothers and sister were a delight

The place is very tranquil and about a 5-10 minute bike ride to the market. They have a bike available for rent which did come in very handy. The room was comfortable and clean and WiFi worked very well. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with finding out bus schedules, planning a safari tour and offering guidance for the area.

We enjoyed everything from the relaxing family atmosphere to the beautiful food prepared by Sarita with the help of Arpana and Zopi. We had such a fantastic week. We originally planned to stay a few days and ended up staying for a week. We went on a walking safari with one of Shardul's friends, Rishi and we had a fantastic experience. We saw a rhino, birds, crocodile, monkeys and deer. We spent the remainder of the days mainly relaxing in their beautiful garden. Arpana brought us to see the domestic elephants and also to town. Basu took us on a village tour. We enjoyed his cultural tour and appreciated that he took the time to show us around. As already mentioned, we enjoyed Sarita's excellent cooking, every single meal was a culinary surprise and wonder.

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar and water sports facilities. Felt very welcome, simple accommodation but very functional, and in a beautiful setting, a really short walk from the park gates and village. Baba and team were amazing and extremely knowledgeable and helpful with planning onwards journey. It was great to chat and hear about all the amazing work going into education and conservation, it was great to support this.

Set in Bhurkīā, Nanu's Bardiya Homestay offers accommodation with a patio. With garden views, this accommodation offers a terrace. The homestay features family rooms. I had a fantastic time staying with Nanu, Kali and children! They were so welcoming to their home and hospitable once you were there. My stay was made up of an amazing walking safari (but they can also do keep), delicious food cooked by Kali (possible the best dal bhat I have had) - including a mo mo cooking class - and lots of fun relaxing at their house and playing with the children. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome and inclusive experience!

Namaste Bardiya Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bhurkīā, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The location is near to boundaries of Bardiya national park. Beautiful view from roof top ( balcony) and there is lot of open areas and greenery within this property. The krishna and Kamala always there is to help you. Food was so delicious, I enjoyed this place coz homely and friendly environment.

Bardia Forest Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bardia. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Great place close to Bardia. Wonderful staff and guides. They will arrange any kind of activity-jeep trip or walk, full day or half day. They organize it to your wishes, depending on what you hope to see. We even had a feast at a village house, with home made rice wine (fire water). Sitting around a fire, we had a great evening. I give this resort the highest recommendation possible.
