Located in Troia, this 5-star hotel has a unique design and faces the Sado River Estuary. It features a casino, a spa and 2 outdoor swimming pools. I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and it was a really great choice! The staff was very friendly, I had a room with a beautiful view and it was clean and spacious. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good and the breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious. I also liked the free underground parking and free admission to the spa. Many hotels usually charge extra fee for these two options, but here no, it's nice. I will definitely be staying here again!

Quinta da Boavista er staðsett í Vila Nova de Milfontes, 2,9 km frá Franquia-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. It was exactly what we needed! The room was big enough, the staff super friendly, everything was tidy and clean, it was with a very relaxed vibe and space for our 3 year old to explore play and enjoy. The breakfast was with enough variety and very good. We're happy we found it :)

B.Hostel er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar í Comporta. Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í 44 km fjarlægð frá Santiago do. B. Hostel was phenomenal in every way! The rooms were very clean with tons of space/storage. The bathroom and shower amenities were perfect. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served every morning was delicious. We ended up booking out the kitchen for dinner one night and had lots of privacy. Only a 10 minute drive to the beach and restaurants. Lots of parking (free). I would highly recommend this place!

Sublime Comporta Country Retreat & SPA býður upp á útisundlaug og gróskumikið umhverfi og er staðsett í Comporta. Gistirýmið er með lúxusherbergjum með viðarverönd með útihúsgögnum. Everything was very good quality and above expectations. The facilities, the food and most of all the staff were excelent.

Hotel Rural Monte Xisto er staðsett í friðsælli sveit Santiago do Cacém og í 20 km fjarlægð frá Costa Vicentina og ströndunum þar. Hotel Rural Monte Xisto is an excellent rural hotel for a getaway. If you seek to be isolated and far from the "confusion" that big cities are, this is the place. Before going into any details, we were extremely well received by João and his daughter Marta. They were fantastic hosts to us, and were very patient with our small child. :) The rooms are in specific buildings on the other side of the main building, and they are very spacious with very good conditions. They all have WIFI and enough wall sockets for a multitude of devices if you require. They also have a minibar, and complementary water. Also every room has a balcony with chairs, table, clothes hanger and a suspended chair, and it is excellent for relaxation if you like to read for example. Regarding food, the hotel serves breakfast with good enough variety given the "small size", and the staff will provide anything else you might require that is not immediately in sight. The hotel has a small offer for lunch (enough for eating without going out, but with few choices), but the more interesting part is the dinner. The owner João is the "chef" for dinners and he is an excellent cook. You do not chose your meal, João will provide a meal given what local products were purchased that day. Do not fear because the food is excellent at dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions/preferences just inform beforehand, and the food will match your needs. Also the portions will be large for even the most hungry guest. The hotel has 2 pools, they are not heated but they are very pretty and well suited for your leisure. One adults pool and a children pool. The hotel also has a Gym which is surprisingly well stocked for your needs, and also has a paddle field and a small fitness circuit with some "weight operated" machines for your leisure. As a final note: This is a rural hotel, so there are many animals and insects so expect them (I like them).

Stayed one night, wished I had booked a week! First time in years I experienced the feeling of being totally relaxed/chilled. Evening meal and breakfast totally amazing. Ideal stopover between Lisbon and Faro. 1000% recommend.
