The hotel gave us a welcome champagne to celebrate my husband’s birthday, which is greatly appreciated. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel in the heart of the Douro Valley.

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious with so many little added touches. The hotel staff is one of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met. Goncalo and Bruna at reception helped us plan our activities. They were so patient with us as we tried to pick what to do. I had a massage at the spa with Jessica and it was wonderful. The morning breakfast is absolutely delicious and the staff so nice and ready to help you start your day. I love this hotel so much, we will return in the spring! Highly recommend!

This was a lovely hotel. The lobby has an amazing view of the Douro River and so did our room with a small balcony. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and fabulous. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. We rode the train in and took the bus out. It was very handy as the station for both is the same location very near the hotel.

This Quinta is set in a beautiful location with views across vineyards down into the valley. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we opted for dinner on site, and it was fantastic. the room was very nice and comfortable. the breakfast was good. the shower had plenty of pressure and kept the set temperature (not all do). we only stayed 1 night, but could have stayed here for a week.

Exceptional view, swimming pool and rooms with a great million dollar view. Good location, You have the view also from Your bed to the vineyard mountains. Also the river DOURO valley. One of the best experiences so far! A nice boutique Hotel (5 rooms only) within the vineyards. Great pool, cozy interior. The managing lady was really kind and helpful. Nice breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, sweet cake :) And breathtaking view from the rooms panoramic windows to Duoro valley! Amazing!!!
