Well I think I may have found the perfect hotel!! The room, food, decor, location, atmosphere, all spot on! but what really made this place great was the staff, all so kind and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. We are a charity and couldn't have achieved our mission on Santa Maria without the help of the amazing Sophia, an absolute credit to Charming Blue, thank you so much from all the team and crew at The Maiden Factor. I can't wait to come back!!

Det 4-stjärniga Hotel Santa Maria ligger bara 1 km från Santa Maria flygplats och har en stor trädgård och en utomhuspool. The breakfast was good - the staff was phenomenal. Aida at the counter was amazing throughout our stay. Helped us with tours , locations , cabs ….. A++++ reception. She definitely loved her job.

This 4-star hotel is situated close to Vila do Porto, a 10-minute drive from the airport, the mountain and the beach of Praia Formosa. Good atmosphere, good room conditions, good staff

QUINTA DO FALCÃO ligger i Almagreira och erbjuder utsikt över havet, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. So happy we stayed here! One of the top hotels we've ever been to. Space was generous, comfortable, and well-appointed. Service was excellent. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If you're looking for a place that's kind of isolated on your own hill top in the middle of nowhere, yet just up the hill from a small town with a great restaurant, look no further. Awesome sunrise when you wake up in the morning. Beautiful stars at night.

This place is paradise on earth. The Villa is breathtaking. It is at a perfect location with amazing views. The rooms themselves are modern, intuitive, and comfortable. The grounds are impeccable and Susana and Nestor make you feel like you’re part of the family. The pet donkeys were one of the best parts, as was the bee workshop and a tour of the island with Miguel. We felt sad to leave, and will definitely be back to visit again.

A rustic house with a view, outside the village (700 m to the Brasilian bar in Santo Espírito). On a small hill with a tricky but manageable drive up. Pedro is a very helpful and responsible host and in case of any problem (we had with a hot water) he reacted immediately. The casa with all comfort needed for a nice stay on the island. We recommend Casa dos Valentes very much.
