Boasting a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel is situated in the centre of Gothenburg, 400 metres from Liseberg. A family-friendly hotel with a fantasy feel adjacent to a large amusement park. The hotel also had a merry-go-round and slide, and was always filled with smiles and laughter from children. There is a large buffet-style restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, where the food is delicious and alcoholic drinks are available, making it enjoyable not only for children but also for adults.

We happened to be there when the fiercest storm in a quarter century (Hans) hit the west coast of Sweden, so we were forced to stay inside. Isbolaget was so cozy and comfortable that we were happy to do so, even though we didn’t get to explore the island and its neighbor, Styrsö. The staff is warm and helpful as well.

The most friendly and warm staff at the reception. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is mostly organic. Very fresh and delicious. The restaurant is exceptional! All dishes made from the organic food grown in their own garden. Amazing food for fair prices. Book a table in advance!

Dorsia may be an exclusive boutique hotel, but it feels more like a palace as you could see on my attached photos. The storybook-style is really impressive! Each room is different. Our cool room (no 303) was very well appointed and spacious, equipped with everything you could want and plenty of towels. Scrupulously clean and perhaps the most comfortable bed for any hotel I have visited! The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Having visited some of the Worlds' finest hotels, I can confidently say that Dorsia ranks among the greatest. Dorsia is member of “Small luxury hotels of the world” for a reason. A huge congratulation to the whole team at Dorsia and keep up the hard work I know it is to keep a high service level like this! Are you looking for a magic experience in Gothenburg – Dorsia is the one you are looking for. It is not cheap, but you get good value for money! Highly recommended! The apartment is really amazing, your every need is anticipated. It is well stocked in the kitchen and they provide toiletries. The included breakfast was delicious. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and cozy. It felt very spacious as well for our family of 4. I only wished we could have stayed longer. We booked several places through Booking for our Scandinavian vacation and this apartment was the best!
