We genuinely loved every moment of our stay here. I cannot express how much the staff made our stay. They were the most attentive / courteous and caring people we have ever met. We loved speaking to them every day, they are a credit to Akagera Game Lodge and really deserve so much recognition. A special thank you to everyone that was working during our stay, we really wish we got everyone's names as everyone deserves a mention. Gastone in particular was incredible. We were taken care of better than we have been before and we have travelled a lot! The lodge is the most amazing experience, the food is delicious, The scenery and nature that surrounds you is honestly out of this world. We loved every morning waking up here, looking out our balcony to breath taking views, enjoying delicious breakfast's, heading off on our game drive, coming back to enjoy drinks by the pool, enjoying a delicious dinner and finishing our nights by the firepit with a lovely cosy blanket. We are already planning our next visit.

My wife and I were with our two little kids (3 and 4). Directly at our arrival, we were welcomed by a very kind and professional staff which helped us with our luggage and the installation. The room was very clean and spacious and the outdoor was charming. The Lodge also propose Safari tours of the Akagera with a guide. For the tour, the Lodge provided delicous lunch boxes with sandwiches, drinks and fruits. We had a very pleasent Safari experience thanks to our very skilled guide and we had the chance to see most of the animals we were looking for.

We spend 1 night at Akagera neighbours. We loved the warm welcome we received from Alexi and his colleagues! He really took the time to have a little chat, show us around and offer us some dinner with a speciality Rwandan beer. We felt like home instantly. He is a wonderful host! The room is simple but correct. We had hot water for the shower and nice breakfast: omelet with veggies. A nice change of only eggs. The court yard where you can eat was very cosy. recommended!
