I think the best thing to say would be what was there not to like? All communication via booking was excellent and all questions and concerns were addressed! We arrived to the hotel and got an upgrade for free (!!!). The staff went above and beyond - whilst I did not manage to memorize every employee name - every single one of them made us feel welcome, cared for and at home. A special mention to Roger and Muhez for all their help, smiles and friendliness! The room was very good and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very very good and we were always greeted by smiles and warmth by all the staff. There were a lot of options including traditional food and american/european style. There was always fresh fruit which was so sweet and amazing! The dinner was very very good. We mainly went for grilled fish but occasionally tried the pizzas (which were HUGE and super delicious) and the burgers (MASSIVE and delicious also). The grilled food and side dishes were amazing also! If you happen to stay at this hotel I highly recommend you to try their smoothies. The oy thing we regret was not having more of them because they are definitely a MUST! We will definitely stay here again whenever we return and I recommend anyone looking for a hotel super close to the beach (less than 5 minutes) to stay here. The staff, the place and above all the people will make your stay worthwhile!

Alp, Yahir and staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful from the moment I booked until the moment I left. Greatly enjoyed my stay in Nungwi thanks to them. The accommodation and facilities, were also perfectly as described. Recommended.

The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Rooms are cleaned every day. All staff is very kind although not everyone speaks English you feel positive energy from them no matter what… They simply make the efforts… Aziza at the reception is the nicest, most kind, a big hearted person. If you purchase half or full board food is going to be cooked on your order what makes this place so special. Beach is just behind the gate, 2 min walk.

Breakfasts are great and huge - you won't be hungry until early dinner. It's feeling safe and you don't have to worry about your possessions or money getting stolen. The owners are on the premises every day and will interact with you to help you plan your excursions, advise which ones to avoid and find trusted local guides they worked with before so you don't have surprises during any of your excursions. The owners can also recommend food or arrange for something that's not on the menu - I was very satisfied with those alternatives, super tasty.

Their team is very kind and offers great service at all times from the taxi to the bar/restaurant persons and the cleaning lady. Ola and Piotr helped us to book great activities at a very affordable prices and also to organize the taxi transportation where we wanted to go and for pick up too. The place is beautiful, perfectly clean and safe. The food is delicious and we ate fresh grilled fish everyday (you can see the fishermen coming back from the sea everyday!). The prices at the restaurant are very affordable. The breakfast is very varied and there is something for everyone. I very much appreciated the excellent coffee, shapatis and fresh fruit as well as the different fresh fruit juice every morning.

Kasha is a unique person, very kind and gentle who helped us in all the activities we did (even if not booked via them). Always available! The hotel is beautifully situated on the beach, family sized, fantastic terrace for socializing, drinks and food, It fits perfectly in the contest and in this way the service is terrific. It's in front of the sea with great view. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and always clean. We have been eating in the hotel because also the kitchen is very nice.
